Suzuki LT80 / Kawasaki KFX80 3/120 to 4/110mm Front or Rear Conv. To Golf Wheels
THIS KIT WILL WORK ON THE FRONT OR REAR OF YOUR LT80 / Kawasaki KFX80 TO USE GOLF CART WHEELS WITH A 4/110mm BOLT PATTERN!! If you have an LT80/KFX80 quad and you are looking to convert to from that very odd 3 bolt pattern to the very common 4/110mm bolt pattern found on most golf cart wheels and the rear of most of Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Kymco, Polaris and other sport and kid ATVs, or you want to convert to the 4/115mm bolt pattern found on the rear of most Yamaha adult sport quad, this kit does it for you. The kit converts to 4/110 AND 4/115 bolt patterns just by using the correct set of holes in the plates. The pictures all show the 4/110mm bolt pattern holes being used but if you look close you can see a another set of holes in the plates that are spread out to a slightly larger bolt circle. Also, this kit will widen the wheel mouting location by 1.75 inches (45mm) on each side.
The pictures show the hub and suspension removed from the ATV to provide better pictures, only the wheels need to be removed from the ATV to install the kit. You may want to convert to a different bolt pattern to be able to make use of the thousands of custom golf cart wheel designs that are available Or for any of the following reasons:? - better traction (even when braking) - better flotation - a more cushioned ride over bumps and jumps - more stability in the turns or on hills - or even just for better looks! The wider tires and width usually make the LT80 a full six inches wider. THIS KIT COMES WITH INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH BLACK POWDER COAT FINISH. Kit components go through a seven stage chemical dip cleaning process, electro-statically dipped in black paint, baked, then powder painted and baked again to a super high-strength gloss-black finish. All the mounting hardware shown is included (tires and wheels not included). The hardware uses nylon insert-collar lock nuts to resist vibration and prevent loosening of the assemblies. We've never had to retighten a piece of hardware on any of these kits even after running motocross races for months.
The nuts are regular flat nuts, and work best with wheels that do not use tapered nuts. Front fenders may need to be trimmed a bit if tire diameter is too much larger than stock. The bolt pattern on an LT80 is 3 on 120mm (4.72in) centers front and rear.The bolt pattern on a Z400, Z250, 400ex, 250r, 450r, 300ex, 250x or 250ex is 4 on 110mm (4.33in) centers on the rear and 144mm (5.67in) on the front. Each hub will have three one inch extensions for the studs, to space them out past the front hub so the small bolt pattern plates will fit. The kit will have three plates that bolt onto these new stud extensions on each hub and provide four new bolts sticking out for the new wheels. The three studs from the hub end up flush with the face of the last plate so there is no interference with the new wheels. This kit includes the parts to convert the front or the rear, but not both - you would need to order two sets to convert both the front and the rear.Each kit has two sets of holes to allow you to convert to either of the two most popular bolt patterns.
